From wide, golden-sand beaches to secluded, hidden coves,Argentario beaches for every taste: whether easily accessible or wild anduntouched, they are all surrounded bypristine natureand overlookcrystal-clear waters.
Cala Moresca owes its name to the Moors and their frequent visits to this cove, which they chose as a pirate hideout in 1796. Only the base of the watchtower just above the cove has withstood the elements.
It is recommended to approach the cove by sea, as there is no sandy beach—only high cliffs —and since it is located withina private residential area, it can only be reached on foot via a lengthy walk. However, if arriving by land, the entrance is on the Panoramica di Porto S. Stefano road at kilometer 5.200 of Provincial Road 65.
