The entrance is located at km 5.900 of Provincial Road 65, about 350 m from the turnoff that leads from Via Panoramica to Via dei Pionieri.From the pedestrian entrance at the large gate, take a route that combines a local road and a trail, requiring about a 20- to 25-minute walk. The route is divided into two parts: a paved section that is not accessible by car (about 80% of the route) and a trail section (the remaining 20%).
The cove is sheltered, and just off its coast risesthe Argentarola, a small islet that harbors a one-of-a-kind underwater cave, where numerous scuba diving activities take place.
