Purgatorio is a small cove accessible by sea just before the southernmost tip of theArgentario, Punta Ciana.The origin of the name given to this charming cove is unknown, though one might speculate that it has connections to Dante, given that the hill overlooking the cove is called Bocca d’Inferno.
Rocks, cliffs, and Mediterranean scrub frame these paradisiacal waters.
