Cove - Cala del Bove

Sand or Rocks?

From wide, golden-sand beaches to secluded, hidden coves,Argentario beaches for every taste: whether easily accessible or wild anduntouched, they are all surrounded bypristine natureand overlookcrystal-clear waters.

Cala del Bove holds a nostalgic appeal for locals, as its name is the local term for the monk seal, which was present and sighted in these waters until the 1970s.

Given the difficulty of the trail, we recommend reaching this cove by sea;access by land is possible via a challenging trail that takes about 20 minutes to walk.Entry is through a turnstile gate located approximately 1.5 km after turning onto Via dei Pionieri from Via Panoramica.
