From wide, golden-sand beaches to secluded, hidden coves,Argentario beaches for every taste: whether easily accessible or wild anduntouched, they are all surrounded bypristine natureand overlookcrystal-clear waters.
The beach, like the rest of the area, takes its name from an artificial soda factory that opened in the second half of the 19th century and was later shut down in the early 20th century.
Apart from its name, nothing remains of the industrial complex today, as it has become a residential area filled with homes surrounded by greenery.
A section of the beach is generally designated as “Bau Beach” and is accessible to dogs. We recommend consulting the annual beach regulations.
