A small, secluded cove at the top of the Porto S. Stefano residential area; it can be reached via a dirt path or a convenient flight of steps.
There is a large free parking lot right above the beach.
It takes its name from World War II, when a facility for testing warheads and torpedo mechanisms was located right here in this area.
The facility was later bombed, and today the imposing columns that characterize the site remain visible and serve as a reminder of that time.
