In this concert, the Ager Cosanus choir takes the audience on a musical journey through various musical genres.

The first stop will be “the chorus in opera.” The waltz from Gounod’s *Faust* and “Va pensiero” from Verdi’s *Nabucco* will be performed here.

The program will then continue with a foray into the operetta genre, featuring selections from some of the most important 19th-century operettas, such as Lehár’s *The Merry Widow* and J. Strauss’s *Die Fledermaus* and *Wiener Blut*.

The third and final segment will feature musical numbers; the program will include Gershwin’s “The Man I Love” from the musical *Lady, Be Good* and “Chim Chim Cher-ee” from the film *Mary Poppins*.
