Angelo Morosini – PirateArgentario Lord of Porto Ercole (1441–1445)

On Saturday, July 4, at 9:30 p.m., in Piazza S. Barbara in Porto Ercole, a historical and cultural event dedicated to Angelo Morosini—a privateer and lord of Porto Ercole from 1441 to 1445—will be held as part of “La Notte dei Pirati 2026.”

The evening will feature three main events: a historical theater performance, a panel discussion with a screening on the big screen, and a journey through the architectural history and demographicsArgentario.

Lorenzo Fusini and Danilo Terramoccia will speak as panelists, with Antonio Sabatini and the audience serving as moderators.

A shuttle service is available from the Church of St. Paul to Piazza S. Barbara from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The evening will conclude with a final toast accompanied by sweets.

The event is organized under the patronage and with funding from the Municipality of Monte Argentario, with support from Cidonio and Marina dei Presidi Porto Ercole.
