The MOLO26 restaurant opened in April 2023 on Via del Molo in Porto Santo Stefano, from which it takes its name. It is located in an elegant 19th-century building overlooking the enchanting stretch of water known as the “Stadio di Turchese, ” which extends all the way to the Pilarella marina, Piazzale dei Rioni, and the Lungomare dei Navigatori.

The owner and head chef is Graziano Ballerano, a chef with over thirty years of experience in the industry. In 2018, he decided to return to his hometown and opened his first restaurant in Porto Santo Stefano: La Vecchia Pesa, a family-run restaurant and pizzeria. His sons work alongside him: Lorenzo, his right-hand man in the kitchen, and Mattia, the maître d’ and sommelier.

After five years in business, an opportunity has arisen to invest in a historic part of town, and this is how the MOLO26 project came to be: a new chance to offer a personal and modern take on dining.

The cuisine is basedon the excellence of locally caught seafood, regional traditions, andthe chef’s expertise, featuring a varied menu that highlights the quality of seasonal ingredients through balanced and creative flavor combinations.

The wine list is also the result of a careful selection, featuring local wines chosen to perfectly complement the dishes on the menu, bringing out their aromas and characteristics.
