Continue along the trail, passing through typical Mediterranean scrub, always following the signs for Ronconali, until you reach a second intersection. At this point, it is important to follow the sign with the arrow pointing to “Capodomo, ” which indicates the detour to the tower of the same name.
After walking for about 5.7 km, you’ll reach Piazzale dei Fondoni, a large open space in the heart of the promontory, which you’ll cross by taking a shaded path through the trees. The trail continues with a long, fairly steep climb that leads to a clearly visible downhill bend.
Right here, there is a narrow side path, hidden among the low scrub, that leads to the charming and mysterious Capodomo Tower.
