The “Fanale” trail on Monte Argentario is a 468-meter trail, classified as a green-level singletrack, suitable for all-mountain (AM) and cross-country (XC) mountain bikes.
The trail can be hiked in either direction and has an elevation gain of 47 meters. On average, it takes about 3 minutes to complete the trail.
The route features a climb with gradients reaching 47.7%, characterized by a compact surface that allows for a smooth ride. The surrounding vegetation is typical of the Mediterranean scrub, offering panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the surrounding islands.
Given the trail’s short length, it’s ideal for combining with other routes in the area to createa longer, more varied ride. We recommend using a mountain bike with adequate suspension to better handle any rough terrain.
